Nermware is written to be simple to install, configure and use. Perl, JavaScript, and the HTML,XHTML,XML ...  code conform to specified open standards.

Nermware's webware works best on web servers complying to open software standards such as Apache, Unix, Linux, BSD and OS X. There are installations of Nermware products on MS server systems, and IE browsers do work OK with these products. However, it is my experience that these MS systems have some problems. In all cases where Nermware products were involved, these problems were associated with either the web server or browser and not directly attributed to Nermware webware products. As such, Nermware products on MS servers are not supported. Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Apache, Solaris, Unix, BSD, Linux, OS X, and virtually anything other then MS products are recommended and supported. Here's some resons why I follow this policy: guninski.com, slashdot, Google MS Security search, Wall Street Journal Personal Technology, Comparison of Linux and Windows, Microsoft alternatives.
